Kaitlyn Lockyer is the young daughter of conservationist Dr Robert Locker wanting to help her daddy and people all over Hong Kong clean up beaches with her friends. Many helpers have expressed an interest in cleaning up our beaches and we invite Hong Kong’s domestic helpers to join.
This is a zero waste BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) event with everything environmentally responsible or reusable. There will be no single use plastic bottles available on the day. Bring food to share for our picnic and join in beach games and activities, music, face painting and a casual dancing competition.
Agenda
9:20am – Meet at Central Ferry Pier #4
9:30am – Catch ferry to Yung Shue Wan (榕樹灣)
10am – Meet at pier and walk to Tai Wan To (Power Station Beach)
10:25am – Cleanup briefing at music booth on beach
10:30am – Beach cleanup
11:50am – Group photo at music booth on the beach
12pm – Potluck picnic (bring food to share)
12:50pm – Pack up and prepare for games
1pm – Tinikling dance contest
1:30pm – SLHFG 2018 Muse and Kids awards
2pm – Beach games
3pm – Return to Yung Shue Wan pier
3:30pm – Catch ferry back to Central
