The annual winter solstice is celebrated around the world and this year it coincides with the full moon, celebrated every month the world. Nature’s calendar is evident in ancient sites like Stonehenge, built at a time when economics were largely determined by the seasons. It marks the resting point, a shift, a change and a time of new beginnings as the year is reborn.
