Help Wanted Hong Kong

“To love our neighbor as ourselves is such a truth for regulating human society, that by that alone one might determine all the cases in social morality.” John Locke

With demand rising quickly, here’s a short list of organizations who have identified specific needs and are actively seeking assistance to coordinate crisis support for our rapidly growing vulnerable population facing tough times.

Helping others is a good way to relieve stress.

Many members provide services in Chinese and social media live feeds in the listings are included help everyone can keep up with the latest requests. Volunteer by remote or in person and donate much-needed goods and/or funds.

The home isolation and holistic treatment protocols guide is in the works. Thanks to members who have already reached out with information and suggestions.

Our dear Sandra Gonzales will host a 2022-02-22 meditation from Egypt this evening at 8:22 local HK time and I have posted the details in our Facebook group so we can come together in healing.

Let’s all do our part and write new stories of the heartwarming goodness that is such a big part of our local culture as we count our own blessings in this brutal cold and rainy weather that just keeps going. The sunshine will be most welcome in the coming days.

Thanks for considering this urgent appeal for support.

Stay strong, stay healthy and keep warm.

We’ve got this.

Naturally,

PS – I am also urgently fundraising for the rental deposit now due for HK heartbeat’s new home that is a tiny new space to slash overheads. Sales campaigns are ongoing and taking a little longer than expected as everything slows to a healing pace in our community.
