towards Oxfam Hong Kong's
humanitarian projects around the world – the agency relies on the public for
about 95 per cent of its income. Oxfam implements development programs in
impoverished areas where support can improve people’s well-being, especially by
strengthening their livelihoods and increasing their resilience to disasters.
Oxfam takes an integrated approach, working with local organizations and groups,
especially women, helping to empower them to work for positive change for their
communities.
