All home-cured meats and sausages made from natural, hormone-free whole pork. Our hand-made pasta made fresh in-house and served with slow-simmered sauces using local organic produce and meats sourced from neighboring farms. We source all ingredients with integrity and, whenever possible, locally to bring clean, all-natural produce from local farms to Hong Kong’s tables. All dishes are prepared with seasonal organic and natural farm-fresh produce hand-picked at its optimal ripeness and sourced from local farms by Homegrown Foods. All meats, poultry and eggs are hormone free and every dish is prepared without MSG to bring you healthy, delicious meals. Lakshmi shares her passion for true food nourishing mind, body and soul through cooking classes, nutritional assessments and menu consultations.
Growing up in a restaurant family, Chef Lakshmi fell in love with food and cooking at a young age. She trained in hotel management in Switzerland, graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York and qualified as an Ayurvedic Nutritional Therapist at The European Institute of Vedic Studies. In addition to offering whole food classes, workshops, presentation and catering for corporate and private clients, a selection of her prepared food is available at i-Detox. “Many people think that Ayurvedic food is only Indian spiced and rich food. Ayurvedic principles can be translated to everybody’s unique temperament and body type.”
