Yoga keeps one centered, happy and grounded in the body. While postures are important, they are a small part of a complete yoga practice. Through meditation, pranayama (breath), selfless service, devotion and being mindful in all that you do, yoga helps one stay present, drop stress and to develop a compassionate mind that can be carried into all aspects of life with a calm spirit and a focused mind. Birthlight pre and post natal yoga classes support and nurture the mother in preparation for birth and safe recovery. I offer individual and private group instruction as well as public classes.
