This week, we're listening the rain nourish our world.

All around us, plants and animals, birds and fish are responding to the abundance of water in the spring storms. When the longest day arrives later this month, everything will be full of life.

It is the growing season.

It's the same for humans. My social feeds are filled with young people graduating high school and heading out into the world filled with hopes for their future. Their dreams will shape our tomorrow and the best we can do is to listen and nurture their big ideas.

In Hong Kong, young people are taking the lead with an Oceans' Day Cleanup this Saturday. During a clothing sort last December, I met young volunteers fueling the magic behind the Get Redressed Pop-Up in Central this week. A few years ago, I worked with a group of young investment bankers who threw their weight behind April Lai's glass-recycling program and invited everyone to send a message in a bottle for support.

Those of us who are young at heart are finding out how to keep our youth and explore accessible yoga and we are saying no to that cruise because it pollutes like one million cars. We are determined to stay relevant and we are curious about Becoming Jane. As we enter the second half, we learn the benefits of silence and the real costs of fracking and we celebrate the official arrival of fossil fuels as the expensive alternative.

We're getting ready for summer with the first in our new series of guides featuring plenty of outdoor fun for everyone.

On Friday, paddlers will take to the sea for the festival of dragons and rice dumplings for good luck on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. This year, the boats are going green and a group of helpers will be Dynamos on the sea. It is helpful to know that sports enthusiasts can call on their own for healing to restore energy after the big day.

As our world greens around us, we are finding it easier to turn to plants for sustenance, we've got our eye on Nectar, Peggy's next venture after Grassroots Pantry and we're super excited about the new foot bridge linking up a new harbourfront walkway.

Watching nature, we see the cycle of life in the seasons. We observe birth and life and death in a day or a week or a year. We don't expect the flowers or the trees or the grass to continue to grow endlessly. When we accept our own cycles of growth in the natural world, nature's rhythm becomes easier to follow. The option is to push and fight and battle to conquer our natural ecosystems in the name of progress but, in the end, nature wins.

Instead of striving to continually grow for the sake of growth, we can take advantage of the down time to reflect and rejuvenate and restore.

How do you like to grow?

Naturally,
