Listen to your own heartbeat ... naturally

[First Name],

This week, we're talking about families.

Everyone has one and they're all different.

Our rules are formed by our period in time.

Our traditions are informed by our ancestors.

Each is unique and the system issues are shared.

Home is where we are nurtured and disciplined.

Family is where we learn love and conflict.

Children are shaped into future humans.

Adults move forward beyond our past.

Work, social and personal intersect.

We create our new family systems.

We continue to face old conflicts.

We repeat or break old patterns.

We build fresh from our lessons.

We accept each other to relate.

Our family is our humanity.

Who is your family?

Naturally,

Mask with care.

We’ve got what you need to turn this year around. And last year, for that matter. Musicians are rising from the ashes and our new outdoor harborfront music festival offers peace of mind for local musicians along with their audience with private pods for easy social distancing -- details.

Feed our musicians.

Musicians are organizing a food drive for professionals in need. Concerts and events had been cancelled for more than a year. Many musicians don’t have any income and the situation is really critical for a lot of them. To those who would like to donate (preferably non-perishable and canned goods), you can order online and have it delivered or drop food at the Hong Kong Musician's Union (HKMU) headquarters (7/F Flat A1 Mirador Mansion, 54-56 Nathan Road Tshim Sha Tsui, Kowloon) or get in touch for more information.

Build a foundation for their future.

Community leaders have been busy working behind the scenes to establish a fundraising structure to accept financial support from everyone who wants to contribute once they become aware of the situation. The new website with bank details is expected to be completed by the festival once the account is finally open. We can all invest some of our entertainment savings over the past year to ensure that, when the time comes, our musicians will be healthy and happy and ready to play. Get in touch if you'd like us to send you a note when it's ready to receive payments.
