Happy Equinox

On September 22, day and night are the same length, marking change of season, a time where the energy of the sun and moon are in balance. It is a time to trust that we know what to release and what is in bloom, preparing us for what lies ahead.

The word “equinox” comes from Latin and means “equal night,” referring to the 12-hour day and night on the two equinox days of the year. National Geographic

In the north, the shift is into autumn as trees drop their leaves to prepare for winter and in the south, the new season is spring, where flowers are beginning to bloom and landscape turns green.

We can pay attention to how we feel at this time and learn is right for us as we observe our external environment.

When we observe nature, we are reminded that change is natural and a normal part of life.
