Connect with conservation

With summer upon us, we will be spending more time relaxing on junks, finding shade, hitting the beach and cooling off in Hong Kong’s great outdoors. Local volunteers will be spending their time campaigning to protect fragile ecosystems that sustain life and serve us best in their current form.

With new campaigns to protect community farming and halt unnecessary development, now is the perfect time to meet new friends who share your interest in conservation and sustainability in Hong Kong, including the controversial Lantau development campaign.

Even though the income gap is huge here, we all have the same amount of time. We don’t have a lot of free time in the fast lane and that is what makes time one of our most precious non-renewable resources.

Consider whether yours is better spent buying more stuff or developing new habits to make a healthy contribution.

“Thanks for kind effort in networking and spreading the positive news to wider communities.” Idy Wong, Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden

These and other local community organizations could always use a little more assistance in any form to fuel their efforts.

As always, please feel free to share the love … naturally.
