This week, we are getting back in the groove.
Family and holidays have been the priority over the past few months of Divali and Christmas and New Year and Chinese New Year. Business has taken a back seat. With many people still out of town, we enjoyed an intimate gathering at our SoulFood Social last week.
Judging by the volume of emails that have arrived in the past few days, everyone is rested and ready to get back into the rhythm of everyday life. It is this routine that aids us in our forward march.
I am often asked how I manage to achieve so much with so little and it is this natural rhythm that keeps me going. My neighborhood birds wake me at sunrise and sing again at sunset to announce the end of the day. Winter slows me and the pace picks up again with bursts of life showing as up as bright green shoots and colorful blossoms covering the trees. I am fresh on Mondays and I schedule my Fridays light, knowing my energy is low. When the cats jump up on my desk and sit in front of the screen, I know it’s time for a tea break or a sunshine stroll.
Many of our members are visionaries following their heart. Learning to listen to it is one of the most important things we can do to ensure we are on our path.
There are many paths to the same outcome and Hong Kong has lots of programs and activities available to help you along your way. Whether your balancing your business or your personal life or your social world, there is someone here offering just what you are looking for … even when you’re not sure what your looking for.
Our Natural Concierge, print publications and the website directory have everything you need to create a life that fits you.
