Uncertainty

This week’s heartbeat is delivered with a
reminder of the certainty of uncertainty.

Much anxiety comes from living
in a world of freedom of choice.

Others’ choices have an impact on me.
My choices have an impact on others.

My expectations create an illusion
of where I want life to take me.

The difference between what I experience
and what I expected can bring unhappiness.

When I start living in tomorrow,
I become dissatisfied with today.

I can blame others for the discomfort
or I can choose to see things differently.

Staying in this moment takes some practice
and I always become more relaxed and accepting.

There is no uncertainty in this moment
and everything is exactly as it must be.

When life becomes this simple,
the media loses its grip on us.

We truly become masters of our own destiny
when we accept uncertainty as life’s gift.

How do you live with uncertainty?
