Promote the “Bring Your Own Bottle” waste reduction strategy and upgrade public water fountains

Ask the government to upgrade public water fountains.

From Drink Without Waste

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and Food and Hygiene Department (FEHD) have suspended more than 1,000 water dispensers for almost two years now, forcing visitors of public facilities to buy bottled water or packaged drinks.

Sign this petition asking government to speed up the replacement of all suspended water fountains with new bottle refill stations and promote the “Bring Your Own Bottle” waste reduction strategy.

Deadline: This petition will end 3 April 2022.

The type of dispensers is the key determining factor in the availability of dispensers. Drink Without Waste and Eat Without Waste petition the government to speed up the replacement of all suspended water fountains with new bottle refill stations, which has low hygiene risk. This is to provide citizens drinking water under the epidemic and promote the “Bring Your Own Bottle” waste reduction strategy.
