Return to routine

This week, we are setting the stage.

Despite the disruption of our move and the hottest summer on record, we are celebrating the biggest summer since we launched in 2001. All signs point towards a boost in healthy and natural Hong Kong living.

Distributors travelled from around the world to introduce their cool new products and super healthy food ingredients to local buyers at NOPA15 last week. More than 7,000 visitors enjoyed plenty of choice with booths up 70% from last year.

We asked our 26 exhibiting members and they confirmed my observation that the rate of change is increasing fast and the past 2 years have been particularly dramatic. We will be watching the shelves and keeping you posted.

In preparation for the growth spurt, we are connecting with our back-to-school spirit and setting up routines to accomplish what is in front of us while keeping you informed. In addition to our weekly update, you can connect with our social media channels.

Over the coming weeks, we will begin rolling out our plans for the autumn with new features and content to make your conscious choices even easier. Our new business membership program will continue to expand, providing value for personal members with welcome gifts, special offers and private events.

The September calendar is already packed with variety as we continue to receive member invites for everything from The Altruism Revolution to Yoga in the Park. As we prepare for the launch of the 15th annual HK Coastal Cleanup Campaign, Plastic Free Seas is petitioning the HKSAR Government to join international lawmakers and ban plastic microbeads. Designing Hong Kong encourages everyone to sign their Save the Trams petition in response to suggestions to close the route between Central & Admiralty and we are revisiting the pedestrian zone proposal.

To counter long hours at the screen, we count on fresh fall mornings for hiking with the birds or stretching in the sunrise to set the tone of the day.

What is your favorite routine?
