“It is very difficult to get people to focus on the most important things when you’re in boom times.” Jeff Bezos

This week’s heartbeat is delivered with a
reminder of the real value of measured time.

This week’s heartbeat is delivered with
respect for the power of looking within.

We are in a time of great transition
with many feeling the effects personally.

Businesses, relationships, financial matters
are a few areas where changes are profound.

It’s tempting to look to others for
advice and seek answers outside ourselves.

Feelings come to the surface, pointing at beliefs
and fears that may no longer be relevant for us.

Many fears are the result of past experiences
and they served well to protect us from harm.

Taking a few moments can create a space for us
to connect and release what is no longer needed.

By allowing feelings their expression and release,
we can open ourselves to new experiences of peace.

Staying present to our emotions in every moment
gives us a constant stream of valuable information.

Now is the time to ask ourselves if we
are living our purpose in this lifetime.

We can find many ways to distract ourselves
and miss the opportunities for reflection.

It’s easy to keep busy with work and fill
our social calendar during the holiday season.

Being true to ourselves leads naturally to
experiences that will support and nurture us.

When will you decide to be yourself?
