This week, it’s time to review.
There’s nothing quite like a long weekend with closed borders and stay home guidelines to get us thinking about the value of looking back on where we’ve been and mapping out the way ahead.
Our public health situation remains critical until the global village comes to terms with the growing inequalities leading to the growing gap between those who have and those who don’t.
We are bearing witness to the rising success of the successful rising from economic stories around the world with economies rooted in early slavery leaving vast populations still paying the price in the absence of significant financial consequences for the privileged who continue to build today’s wealth on those early foundations.
Our community rises to meet the ongoing challenges left by those who came and conquered and left after exporting the best and leaving behind their mess.
Since our beginning in 2001, technology continues to make it easier to share content and contacts for balance.
Our members are embracing remote while consciously gathering in person when it’s is possible and sensible and the new calendar embraces new tech.
The directory is evolving and staying current is the new challenge with some relocating and others reconsidering products and services to meet growing interest.
Privacy concerns are gaining priority and we are moving towards mandatory registration for our community members to verify users and qualify our members and share member contact details more easily.
Greenwashing is the latest challenge for customers seeking real answers and the value our work lies in saving you time by doing our homework before publishing the press releases. Our role is not to change opinions or influence decisions. We are here to sort fact from fiction and connect you with those who are doing the real work with little in the way of marketing and publicity budgets.
We’re thinking it might be time for our first official membership campaign so watch this space and be ready for the call.
Are you ready for what comes next?
