This week, we are counting every little blessing.
Each breath of fresh air is a reminder of this life.
Absence and distance makes the heart grow fonder.
Our tiny urban parks and gigantic country parks are restful.
Screens lose power when the sky is blue and the sun is shining.
Non-essentials slip away leaving behind space for simple.
Whole foods in a rainbow of colors fuel our bodies well.
Social events are small and smart, designed for love.
Less trumps more in the pursuit of balance.
We will weather this series of storms.
And we will gather to celebrate.
Are you counting?
Listen to your own heartbeat.
