Clearing :: 10 March 2022 :: Issue #1052 :: read online here |
By this time next week, I will be writing from our new tiny headquarters. While I clear and pack to squeeze into half the space, things here will slow down a bit. With the guidance of our members, I aim to tackle the misinformation epidemic and curate a simple guide that will useful for everyone to navigate the weeks ahead and establish new habits today for a healthy tomorrow. In the meantime ...
While the official community outreach work has finally begun, please take a moment now and take a deep breath for someone who is struggling to breathe. Lift your face to the sun and send loving energy to our member who's back in town for healing in (and out of) our hospitals at the moment. Bow your head and say a quiet prayer of gratitude for the thousands of our elders who have already left their body and the many more who will leave their families and friends in the coming weeks. These are the people who made our Hong Kong what she is today. I trust we will learn the lessons from this chapter and implement the preventative measures identified here in 2003. Enjoy the sunshine, take your vitamins and breathe. We've got this. Naturally,

HK Pharmacists are taking your calls.To alleviate crowds at physical shops and serve people isolating at home, HK Pharmacists have set up a free WhatsApp hotline offering advice for prompt treatment of symptoms with online dispensary and delivery services when isolating at home; all messages are assessed for urgency and care is provided on priority basis. Unable to find anything online, I prepared this for sharing. The Association is in touch with the HKSAR government to secure funding and cover the delivery costs (HK$100 average) for those who need help. |
